Description |
Wooden box constructed to hold copies of the Marblehead Messenger (later called the Marblehead Reporter) for distribution. The box is constructed of plywood. There is a small silhoutte of a newsboy hawking newspapers printed on a 1-3/4" x 3" piece of paper taped to the front. "Marblehead Messenger 5 [cents]" and "All the News That Fits We Print" are painted on the front. The back is higher than the front and has 2 holes for hanging. The dimensions for the body of the box are 3-1/4"h x 9-3/8"w x 6-1/8"d. The back is 8-7/8" h x 9-3/8"w. |
