May 2, 1883 Received of the Town of Marblehead $125 for services as Town Treasurer pro tem from Oct. 7, 1882 to March 20 1883 William Gilley April 4, 1880 received $300 for services as town Treasurer this past year. Recepits for 1892, 94 & 96 $300 3. June 7, 1883 - To the board of Assessors - At a meeting of the Selectmen the bond of William Gilley as Treasurer and Isaac Mason, Henry Pitman and William Reyonlds as Sureties was approved and accepted. at June 5th meeting the board of William Stacey, Collector of Taxes with James J.H. Gregory and Joseph Wormstead as sureties was approved. Stephen Felton, Sec. 4. Office of William O. Gay June 13 and 18 letter stating that their original bid of 2.91 was changed to 2.82 and that the loan had been sold to a higher bidder. Note says they will take it as tit was already sold. 5. Marblehead, February 21, 1891 - Pay to the order of Wm. Gilley, town Treasurer $11,376.12 and charge to account of Selectmen. William Coates, Chairman, Stephen C. Felton, Town Clerk |
