This file contains papers concerning finances for the period leading up to the Civil War and after it. Here are 4 papers signed by members of several military units in which the men of each authorized one of their number to receive the money due the them for drilling. These were Company C Marblehead Light Infantry , Company B in the second Regiment of Artillery, Co. B 2nd Reg. Artillery Company C, 6th Reg.4th Brigade, 2nd Div. Company A, Glover's Light Guard. The remaining slips of paper concern various expenses of the Town for the soldiers up to 1889. It also contains slips of paper indicating payments to families from the Town of Marblehead .
