This file contains receipts for various small amounts paid to day laborers in the 19th century and a few contain incidental charges for materials associated with the labor. There are nearly 100 names of people associated with these receipts. Most are men but a few are women.
One receipt is for $1.12 another is for $93.50 for 93 1/2 days work.
