This file contains 119 handwritten receipts to the Town for payment of interest on notes for loans made to the Town. 1825 - 4 Certificates from the Town Treasurer, John Pedrick saying that interest was due to Nathanul Brimblecom, Capt. William Hooper, Mr. John Roundey and John Pedrick. Each one is whitnessed by Joshua Prentiss. 1855 - 22 receipts 1856 - 25 " 1857 - 33 " One of these receipts is the actual loan note canceled 1858 - 32 " 1859 - 3 " Names are in the People File Merchants etc. are in the Notes |
