Receipt signed by Hooper R. Goodwin for $5.60 dated Dec. 10, 1868 for payment of stock and labor used in fixing town pump. Receipt signed by William Tucker for $1.55 dated May 26, 1866 for payment of stock and labor at Town Hall Pump. Receipt signed by John Mahony and Dennis Dalyfor $28.00 dated July 19, 1854 for payment for digging 14 squares on the common for a reservoir at $2.00 per square. Receipt signed by J. C. Clouthman for $2.25 dated July 19, 1854 for payment for teaming to Salem and Danvers for stock for building reservoir. Receipt signed by Samuel Reynolds for $5.81 dated Aug. 26, 1844 for payment of 3 1/4 days labor repairing well on Spring Street. Receipt signed by John Broughton for $1.50 dated Sept. 20, 1845 for payment for labor with blocks and falls getting in town pump. Bill from John Carroll Sr. for $7.85 dated Jan. 7, 1880 for repairs to the Commons Upper Pump, Elm Street Pump and Common Lower Pump listing work performed. Statement of work signed by Moses Hill dated Oct. 24, 1836 to build stone lined well 8 feet in diameetr at the bottom and 4 feet diameter at the top where the old hay scales formerly stood for $100.00. If hard rock is found the expense of blowing and extra days cost the selectmen will pay. Bill from Moses Hill for $167.25 dated Jan. 2, 1837 for 39 days labor blowing and bailing and $100.00 for digging and stoning well. Quiner for $30.30 dated March 4, 1825 for payment for 1894 feet of lumber for town pumps. Bill from Joseph Gregory for $25.49 dated Nov. 6, 1809 for labor and materials for work on the North, South, Central and Street pump. Bill from John Harris for $71.25 dated Jan. 1, 1810 for repair work at the Neck Bridge, South pump, North pump, pump bye the bBank, Bridge on th plain and pump at the Town house. Bill from Nathaniel Phillips for $.75 dated July 6, 1819 for repair work on the upper, lower, old town and paying pumps. Bill from Nathaniel Phillips for $3.13 dated Jan. 1, 1813 for repair work at the upper, center, lower and old town pumps. Bill from Phillips and Norman for $2.60 dated Sept. 6, 1812 for repair work on the center and lower pump. Warrent to Jonathan C. Blaney, Constable, to notify and warn the male inhabitants to meet at the Town House on Monday the fourth day of August at eleven oclock beforenoon totake into consideration the petition of Benjamin Hooper and others respecting a well to be located in the North Easterly corner of the Common.
