Scope & Content/Description |
This file contains financial receipts for the year 1881 for the Fire Department. It is devided into seven catagories. 1) Six list of signatures for members of the several Fire Companies authorising one of their members to collect the bounty from the Town and divide it amoung them. 2) Two reciepts for the bounties from the Town. 3) Forty one invoices on printed bill heads 4) Eighty two receipted for monthly (and some other periods) pay due to Firemen 5) Twenty two receipts for supplies 6) Twenty Seven receipts for outside work etc. 7) Eleven receipts for outside labor for cleaning hoses & sails 8) Two receipts for "Watching" |
