This file contains 18 paper concerning elections etc. in Marblehead in the years 1786,1787, 1788 & 1889.
1) In 1786 there are 2 papers, one is a list of town officers to be sworn in, the other is an oath by two men elected to Town offices.
2) in 1787 there are 7 papers noting various men have sworn an oath of allegiance to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
3) in 1788 there are 5 oaths for various purposes and a request for a list of names for jury duty.
4)There are 3 papers;
A) 29 Jan. 1789 Results of Town's vote for Rep. to the Great and General Court.
B) 6 April 1789 the Town's results of voting for the Governor and Lt. Governor.
C) 18 December 1789 the Town's results of votes for President, Vice President , and for the U. S. Congress
